Description:
This is a nymph. It is black and white in color with brownish orange antennae. It also has some blue coloring on its abdomen. Leaf like extension of the back legs are visible.
Life Cycle: egg, nymph, and adult. There are also several instar stages prior to reaching adulthood. Nymphs cannot fly.

Strange looking flying insect about 60mm long. Sluggish. Doesn t move when disturbed. Very difficult to spot because of camouflage. Close up of head looks like a crocodile!!
